Outlook Festival proudly presents its Opening Concert, featuring Ms Lauryn Hill in a 2000 year old Roman Amphitheatre!

Live support provided by none other than the ground breaking Submotion Orchestra, Eglo Record's leading lady Fatima and rising star Andrew Ashong.

This spectacular concert will be held a day before the main festival, setting the tone for celebrations to follow.

Surrounded by ancient history around 2000 years old, in one of the largest Roman amphitheatres in the world, Pula's remarkable arena will showcase some huge artists.

This unique landmark offers festival attendees a chance to party in one of the most surreal and beautiful places in the world. It definitely has to be experienced first hand!

MS LAURYN HILL
This year’s headliner is as intriguing as she is sensational: Formerly of the Fugees, Ms Lauryn Hill takes centre stage with her critically acclaimed solo show, for what is Outlook’s most ambitious booking yet.

SUBMOTION ORCHESTRA
Submotion Orchestra have rapidly built up a reputation as one of the most interesting and original projects emerging from the UK today. Drawing upon dubstep, soul, ambient electronica, jazz and dub, their unique music is at once delicate and heavy, spacious and dense, highly atmospheric but firmly rooted.

FATIMA
Few vocalists can claim to have worked with such a diverse array of musicians, a true testament of her capabilities, talent and versatilely. Born in Stockholm, Sweden but currently residing East London, Fatima is a nomadic child of the cosmos, drawing upon life inspiration and energy in everything from LA Freeways, London basements and The Sea through to Earth Wind And Fire and the sky above.

ANDREW ASHONG
The Ghanaian-British artist will perform his unique blend of psych-soul funk, after releasing his first solo effort on Theo Parrish’s label, Sound Signature. The title track, ‘Flowers’ won ‘Track of the Year’ at Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide Awards 2013.
