The ZOO Music:Culture startet los und wird ab sofort ein neues Zuhause für seltene, in Österreich oft unbekannte, aber international sehr geschätzte Künstler der elektronischen Musiklandschaft schaffen. Im exclusiven Rahmen werden wir mit unserem Music&Fun Konzept neue Akzente in Linz setzen. Fürs Eröffnungsevent haben wir gleich einen besonderen Leckerbissen eingeflogen, den Shootingstar 2012 und zum ersten mal in Oberösterreich. Whether it’s behind the turntables or in the Studio, Oliver likes versatile, techno infused tracks with room for deep elements as well as pure dancefloor work. His style is warm and subtle but at the same time very energetic.

With releases on „Ostwind Records“, „Parquet Recordings“ and „Musik gewinnt Freunde“ Hamburg-based Oliver Schories finally found his home in 2010 after years of experimenting with different electronic music styles like Drum n‘ Bass, 2Step and New Rave Electronica.

Having been influenced by those various styles within the last decade of DJ‘ing, 1982 born Oliver has today a huge musical background which he uses for his productions as well as for his DJ-Sets: They are always unique.

♥ ♥ ♥ MIYAGI (Rennbahn Rec - Germany)

Miyagi aka Robert Wagenknecht is a german DJ and producer, living in Hamburg. With his friend Thomas Jager, he founded the record label "Rennbahn Records" there. In keeping with the motto "sometimes we make music, sometimes we make party", they also present several partys in Hamburg regularly. As the A&R manager of "Rennbahn" he takes responsibility for only getting those tracks released which match the labels musical style.


Since four years, the hosted partys belong to the most successful events all over Hamburg. Only the hottest locations like the "Uebel & Gefaehrlich", "Docks", "Fundbureau" or "Waagenbau" are chosen to celebrate with national and international top DJs as per Anja Schneider, Dapayk, Marek Hemmann, Djuma Soundsystem, Troy Pierce, Rodriguez Jr., TokTok vs. Soffy. O., Dirty Doering, Heinrichs&Hirtenfellner, Miss Jools, Marcin Czubala and many more.


In the beginning of 2009, Miyagi got to know the Berlin producer Ronald Christoph with whom he got along immediatly. Together, they started the project "Miyagi & Ronald Christoph". A few months later, their first common track got released on the own imprint "Rennbahn Records". The big success not only put the record on the "Cocoon Ibiza Summer Sampler 2010", but brought bookings all over Germany and furthermore in London and Switzerland to the young DJ. In line with those bookings he played in popular Berlin clubs like the Tresor, Maria am Ostbahnhof or Ritterbutzke.


Recently, the second common EP got released on Rennbahn Records. The "Betty Rose EP" was supported and played by well-known acts such as Dirty Doering, Hanne & Lore or Haito. However, in 2012 Miyagi increasingly wants to concentrate on productions for his solo project again. Several releases and remixes are planned.

Since august, he supplementary works at the Docks/Prinzenbar as their booking agent for all kinds of electronical events. Above all, he's got big plans - a new label called "WEIRD Music" will be founded at the end of the year.
