‘Keepin' The Horse Between Me And The Ground’

6th June 2016, London - Seasick Steve will be releasing his new album, ‘Keepin' The Horse Between Me And The Ground’, on the 7th October 2016.

This album is a celebration of being alive, still going strong, and loving every minute of it.

‘Keepin' The Horse Between Me And The Ground’ has Steve in the saddle and holding the reins, so what you get here is a good ol' Seasick mix of boogie, blues, rock, americana, folk-music.

Produced and written by Seasick Steve, this will be Seasick Steve’s eighth studio record, and an album that he can’t wait to release, he says:

'I am having the best time of my life right now, and it's been one helluva ride!'

Released on his own There’s A Dead Skunk Records (Distributed by Rough Trade/Good To Go & Phonofile), the album will be available as a 2xCD / 2xLP Gatefold and Download / Stream, and is available for physical pre-order now.

On the 14th October, Steve returns for his only UK appearance in 2016. This will be his biggest ever headline show and is being held at The SSE Arena, London. It’s been 10 years since Seasick Steve first appeared on the BBC as part of Jools Holland’s ‘Hootenanny’ in 2006, a legendary performance which turned him into a household name overnight, with his debut solo album ‘Dog House Music’.

Steve plans to celebrate this 10th Anniversary and the release of his new album, in typical Seasick Steve style and will be touring Europe in October 2016. Fan pre-sale starts on Tuesday 7th June.
