CRIPPLED BLACK PHOENIX - NEW DARK AGE. Update - Autumn, 2015 A.D.

As stated before, there's been a time of stress for CBP, and this has created some confusion. However, the first step has been taken in the new (dark) age for the band and with the summer shows being a resounding success, with the new line-up, CBP are proving to be more productive than ever and now hungry to be more active on the live circuit.

Unfortunately we still have to shed some clarity on the situation dating back to the begining of the year, so, to put the record straight... An ex-"member" decided back in 2012 that he would shadily register the band name trademark to himself, without the knowledge of the rightful owner (Justin Greaves) or others involved with the band, even though this person was not a founding-member, or a song-writer (joining in 2009, 4 years after the band had started). He then continued to play with the band for 2 years until December last year, when he and another now-ex-"member" chose to simply not show up for the live shows booked in Greece and Bulgaria. This was a cynical attempt to sabotage the band for reasons that can only be called bogus. Needless to say, CBP triumphed and against the odds played the shows.

Since then, despite a short period of time for some much needed energy recovery, CBP has moved on and become stronger. Now boasting more Swedish blood and heavy psychedelics from "new guys" Jonas Stallhammar (guitar, also member of Bombs Of Hades, God Macabre) & and Niall Hone (bass, also member of Hawkwind), along with Justin Greaves, Daniel Anghede, Mark Furnevall, Ben Wilsker, Daisy Chapman and Belinda Kordic, the order of vigilantes are looking forward and preparing for the tour this coming November/December. The tour will see the band visit some favourite haunts as well as some new places around Europe, playing songs from the last album "White Light Generator" and the recent "Oh'Ech-oes" EP, plus a selection of vigilante classics from the past ten (10) years.

Also in the pipeline is a fresh new recording deal, for now under wraps, but this classified information will be soon made public along with news about the next audio adventure.
