Informationen
On Tuesday, April 11th Mosaïque teams up with the Austrian perfume company WienerBlut for an evening looking at the unique attitude of the Viennese in both scents and sounds.
WienerBlut was founded in 2009 with a desire to revisit and remix 19th century perfume recipes of Imperial Vienna. According to the creatives of the fragrance house, turn of the century Vienna was the place to be. Vibrant with political and cultural discourse, carried away with music, dance and cocaine, electrified by the ethnically most diverse society in Europe.
Mosaïque's musical program for the evening looks at its beloved hometown through a similar lens as soprano Mara Mastalir, tenor Paul Schweinester, pianist Deirdre Brenner, and the fabulous Trio KlaViS take us on a journey of famed Viennese composers from Haydn and Schubert through to Mahler, Krenek, Schoenberg and onward to the present day.
WienerBlut's line of unisex fragrances will be available to explore all evening, so come early, grab a drink, and take a whiff of fin-de-siécle Vienna! As always, the bar at Brick-5 opens at 6:30pm and the concert starts at 7:30pm.
Tickets are available both online and at the door!
